Jack Maddox is a character in the Netflix series Heartstopper. He is an English scholar and is Charlie's celebrity crush.
Personality[]
Jack is shown to be a very kind man who is passionate about what he does. He is friendly when interacting with fans and is open to answer any questions they have. He is very charming and charismatic, able to make the audience laugh at the book-signing with his humor.
Biography[]
Season 3[]
Charlie is on Instagram when he sees a story from Jack promoting his new book 10 Things I Hate About Plato. ("Home") Later as Nick is scrolling Instagram, he comes across a post from Jack, who is in Bath. ("Talk") For Charlie's birthday, Nick gets Charlie tickets for a Jack Maddox book-signing. The next morning, the two of them head to the event, with Nick joking that he is going to be replaced since Jack is Charlie's celebrity crush. Jack comes out and opens the floor for questions. Charlie asks if he has any book recommendations on queerness in Ancient Greece, which excites Jack. Afterwards, during the actual book signing, Charlie tells Jack how big of a fan he is of him and is one of his inspirations since he wants to study classics in uni. Charlie signs his book and asks Nick what he can do for him. However, he ends up being tongue-tied. As they walk away, Nick admits that he is very hot. ("Body")
