Truth/Dare is the sixth episode of the second season of Netflix's Heartstopper, and the fourteenth episode of the series overall.[1]

Synopsis[]

On their last day in Paris, Nick introduces Charlie to his dad. Elle and Tao make it official. The truth comes out at a party that's full of surprises.

Plot[]

Charlie and Nick meet up with Nick’s father, but he has to rush somewhere, so he asks to leave.

He, however, promises to meet Nick when he comes to England for a small business trip. Nick gets a little riled up because his father just assumes that he likes girls, and he is unable to tell him that Charlie is not just a friend.

Tao and Elle share their kiss with the boys and the girls, and the two groups decide to sneak out and check out the hotel late at night.

Nick and Charlie are caught by Mr. Farouk and Mr. Ajayi, who then talk about beautiful gay moments when they were teenagers. For the first time, Mr. Farouk puts his guard down when Ajayi proceeds to flirt with him.

The next day they celebrate Tara’s birthday and have a great fun day out. Late at night, Darcy organizes a party for Tara, but she feels a little out of place and worried about something.

Issac shares a kiss with James, but for some reason, he is unable to really get on with it, so he rushes off.

Harry and the other homophobic boys try to crash in on the party, but Charlie tells them that they can’t join, in spite of their half-assed apology.

After a few slew remarks at the truth and dare game, Nick finally admits to the small group that it was he who gave Charlie that hickey and that he is bisexual. They share a nice little moment with the group before Darcy, who has had little too much alcohol, gets sick, and the party ends.

Back in the room, Nick and Charlie are alone, so they get into the same bed, but Nick accepts that he is not ready to go all the way just yet. Charlie understands.

Back at the girl’s room, Darcy says I love you back.

Whereas Issac sits in the balcony all alone, isolating himself.

Due to the fact hat Darcy vomited in Mr. Ajayi’s bed, Farouk suggests that the other teacher can sleep in his. They then share a kiss.

The trip to Paris ends and Charlie reads a comment on one of Nick’s photos that is about them saying and anticipating what’s in store for Nick next.
